Game Review Here
Deus Ex
by
developer: Warren Spector
company: Aspyr Media
Release date: 6/30/00 |
A game with a fresh new look setting
the way for a new generation of gaming. Using the same engine
used in the game Unreal. Although though of as a role play game
it offers more to you as the character is in the first person
and at times switches to the third person. The game was designed
to be played by a single non-genre player or the casual role
playing player.
Taking place in a futuristic
earth like planet. The story centers around a technologically
and biologically theme. Your an agent working for the United
Nations Anti-Terrorist Coalition or UNATC . A horrible virus
called the Gray Death is taking it's toll of the common people.
Your job is to prevent a mysterious terrorist group from stealing
the cure.
As the game is played you pick
up skills like picking locks, shooting, explosives and even medicine.
To shoot the enemy is more than taking aim here. You need the
skill and practice behind the guns target. Your character uses
his head to strategic problem solve as he out smarts the terrorist.
He soon learns that his friends could turn on him and that he
is the only one to trust.
The graphics are outstanding
consuming about 150 MB of free hard space. It works the computers
processor hard and is advised to run this game on a fast computer.
It is a must to have a voodoo graphics card installed and requires
the same specs as with the macintosh game.
