Olympus C - 5050 zoom
$1199.98 Canadian $999.99US
Introduction
|
Olympus C-5050zoom is another digital still camera winner.
Almost identical to the
C- 4040 the new including the Super bright f1.8, 3x all- glass
a spherical zoom lens is able to capture shots during low lighted
areas. This is a 5-Megapixel CCD camera which produce an excellent
high quality pictures. The cameras' all-magnesium body provides
durability and a comfortable hold. By using the LCD screen on
the back lets you capture overhead, low - angle, and other usually
difficult shots. The camera is completely automatic or you
can use the manual setting to fit your own preference and have
them saved so that you can use them each time the camera is turned
on. New to this model are four scene program modes which make
it easy to setup a shot in Sports, Night scene, Portrait and
Landscape. A new media is supported which is the xD-Picture Card.
Other media that is supported is the: SmartMedia, CompactFlash
type I or II, and 512MB/1GB IBM.
Auto- Connect is USB computer compatible. All you need to
do is connect the camera to the computer by the supplied cable
and that is it. When the camera is in view mode a untitled folder
will show up on the computer desk top. Also is compatible with
Windows XP and Mac OSX.
The C-5050 has a TTL hot shoe which can except an external
flash (FL-40 flash ) which cost just under $500.00 in Canadian
money.
The C5050 / C4040 can be said to be truly remarkable cameras.
Fun to use and captures excellent sharp images. Battery life
was several weeks using just 4 AA NiMH Batteries. On average
every shot used the built in flash and on over half the telephoto
was used. If your looking for an easy to use camera and takes
great pictures. You can print your photos on a ink jet for a
great picture use glossy paper or compress the photo to fit in
your email or a web site. Designed for the professional it is
great for any consumer wanting that perfect shoot.
