I was looking over my email and came across this one - see bank scams below. Well I know that I don't bank here, so I'm not their customer as they have suggested that you are. "We could not verify your current information." Could it be since I don't know who you are or that I don't bank with you. Also there is no one to direct questions to like a phone number, or address in which to send the police or a person to. However there was a given link which I have not included here - there is no sense adding to there lets take your money scam. So if you see an email suggesting that a bank needs you to update your personal information don't do this on line, rather do it in person if it is a bank that you deal with. Also if a bank needs your information there is not going to be a time limit, that is if the bank is looking to keep your business. No bank or trust company will have you update on the internet. The banks Know also that there are bank scams happening all the time. If there is easy money to be made, you can bet that someone has or is thinking up a scam to get your money. There is no harm in contacting your local law enforcement agency and letting them know that you have received one. And most of all don't reply to Bank Scams just use your delete and trash them. |

In saying this make sure that when using a banking machine that your aware of who is behind you and how close. Shield the number pad with your other hand while pressing the combination of buttons. Keep your eyes on where and with who your credit card has gone with when paying for things |
